as we travel in comfort to historic Nelson Nevada. You
will pass petrified sand dunes, extinct volcanoes and colorful geological
formations in the most powerful, safest off road vehicle ever built
... HUMMER! In
the 1850's explorers found gold nuggets in the sands of Eldorado Canyon.
The Rush was on! Miners and gunfighters flocked to this lawless place
and created the town of Nelson. Today, Nelson is a ghost town visited
mostly by adventure seekers and world famous Hollywood producers. At
the old Savage Mine your experienced guides will explain the interesting
history as you enter deep caverns where determined miners once risked
their lives for millions of dollars of the precious yellow metal long
before there was a Las Vegas. Then
the excitement continues as the powerful Hummer travels deep into the
desert on old mining trails not accessible by ordinary vehicles. After
a stunning view of the famous Colorado River, your guide will share
secrets of the early prospectors and even give you a few minutes to
do some serious treasure hunting. You may even get lucky, and of course,
you may keep what you find. (Children
must be at least 2 years of age in order to go on the tour.) TOUR INCLUDES:

CANCELLATION POLICY
We
will be happy to make changes (dates & times) with ample notice and
subject to availability. Cancellations outside of 48 hours prior to pick up time will result in a $35 per person processing fee. Cancellations inside
of 48 hours from pick up there will be no refund. No shows will be responsible for the entire cost
of the tour.
