Valley of Fire (WOR-30) Your 28 mile off road journey
in a SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) or a van will begin on the Moapa Indian
Reservation cutting through the Muddy Mountains. Moving past multicolored
rolling land forms, you will descend into Bitter Valley, where red butte
formations stand like silent sentinels in the middle of the desert floor.
You will visit Hidden Valley were there are wondrous boulder chocked
canyon and many other interesting places, possibly encountering wildlife
along the way. There will be plenty of time to explore and take pictures. Then journey into the Valley
of Fire State Park for a seven mile excursion through tortured sandstone
red from oxidized iron and eroded into curious shapes. This area was
once inhabited by the Anasazi Indians and is still home of 1,500 year
old petroglyphs. Your Adventure Guide will lead you on foot for further
exploration of these ancient markings. You will see spectacular views
of the canyon's mazes, domes and ridges all in an extraordinary range

is made at the Visitor's Center before heading off to the Willow Spring
picnic area where we embark on the "Rocky Gap" off road trail. You will ascend thorough the
Toiyabe National Forest to an elevation exceeding 8,000 feet. Along
the eight mile adventure experience thrilling off road action encountering
obstacles such as boulder choked washes, hairpin turns, narrow passages

a SUV or van through beautiful Kyle Canyon. Ascend to Mount Charleston
Lodge which rests just below one of Nevada's highest mountain peaks.
You will have approximately one-half hour to relax, explore, photo shoot
or to take a short hike. On your descent back to Las
Vegas wind through the town of Mount Charleston that is the home of
1,000 residents and multi-million dollar vacation homes. Then enjoy
a 14 mile off road journey with scenic vistas of rolling desert landscapes
and a Joshua Tree forest along with an exceptional view of the Las Vegas
Valley. Temperatures are approximately
20 degrees cooler in this region, which is refreshing in the summer
months. Warmer clothing (layering) is advised during all seasons. (Children
